Are you looking to start your career in marketing in a varied role in an FMCG environment? This opportunity will be ideal for someone who is drawn to understand the commercial and marketing activities behind the scenes. Being part of the team pulling together those plans drawing on a mixture current market data, historical information from previous campaign results and applying that to future initiatives to drive an uplift in promotions and increase market share.

You will have a natural interest in understanding everything there is to know in the product category, product positioning in the marketplace and how the commercials are working and thrive off variety and multiple points of contact in a busy, fast paced environment.

More about the role:

• Support the UK shopper marketing budget in line with campaign plans working closely with the commercial and marketing teams across all product ranges.
• Support the customers for the optimum sell-in process.
• Oversee all activities from the initial briefing stage through to the creation of engaging and innovative shopper marketing plans.
• Every day will be full of variety and communication with all functions at every level.

What experience do you need for this role?

• Experience working in a marketing or commercial function.
• Able to interpret the data from multiple sources and process the output effectively
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal and confident to build relationships at all levels in the business.
• Able to prioritise multiple work streams and activities.
• Enthusiastic with a thirst to develop your commercial or marketing career.
