Position: Short Term Adults Social Worker

Location: Eden

Salary: £34 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Short Term team, covering the Eden area. This role involves 2-4 allocations per week, depending on service needs. The position requires regular office presence (1-2 days per week) for team meetings and face-to-face supervisions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a duty rota to address high-priority needs of customers in Eden.
• Conduct Care Act assessments, mental capacity evaluations, and best interests work where necessary.
• Utilise Continuing Health Care knowledge and experience effectively.
• Organise visits and manage your diary efficiently to minimise travel time by scheduling multiple visits within the same day.
• Handle varying complexity of work.

Requirements:

• Registered with Social work England
• A Degree in Social work or Diploma in SW, CQSW, CSS
• Right to Work in UK
• Enhanced DBS check, dated within the last 12 months

• Proven experience and knowledge in Continuing Health Care.

• Strong organisational skills to manage visits and reduce travel time.
• Flexibility to adapt to the varying complexity of cases.
