Sign Fitters Mate

We are working with a well-established signage company in Manchester, known for delivering high-quality signage solutions across a range of industries, including retail, corporate, and events. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Sign Fitter’s Mate to join their installation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in joinery, carpentry, or construction who is looking to develop a career in the signage industry. While previous signage experience would be beneficial, full training will be provided to help the right candidate transition into the role.

• Assisting experienced Sign Fitters with installations across various locations.
\n
• Helping with the assembly, fitting, and securing of signage, totems, LED displays, vinyl graphics, and built-up letters.
\n
• Using power tools and hand tools to prepare and install signage.
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
\n
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment for jobs.
\n
• Working at height using MEWPs, scaffolding, and ladders (training can be provided if necessary).
\n

• A background in joinery, carpentry, or construction (apprenticeship or relevant work experience).
\n
• Comfortable using power tools and hand tools.
\n
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills in the signage industry.
\n
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
\n
• A full UK driving licence would be an advantage.
\n
• IPAF, PASMA, and CSCS qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
\n
