Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced School Administrator to join our dedicated administrative team. The successful candidate must have extensive experience with the School Information Management System (SIMS) and a proven track record in school administration. This role is vital in supporting the smooth running of the school's administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the school's SIMS database, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of student records.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school leadership team, teachers, and other staff members.
- Handle enquiries from parents, students, and external agencies, delivering excellent customer service.
- Coordinate student admissions, including processing applications, maintaining waiting lists, and organizing admissions events.
- Assist with the organization and execution of school events, meetings, and activities.
- Manage student attendance records, including tracking absences and generating reports.
- Prepare and distribute school communications, such as newsletters, letters, and emails.
- Maintain and update administrative systems and procedures.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, particularly regarding data protection and safeguarding.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a School Administrator or in a similar administrative role within an educational setting.
- Extensive experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) is essential.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection regulations in schools.
