Job Title: Single Point of Access Team Manager - Adult Social Care
Location: Gateshead
Rate: £30 - £35 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary/Contract

Gateshead Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Single Point of Access Team Manager to join our Adult Social Care Direct service. In this pivotal role, you will support our Single Point of Contact team in assessing, sourcing support, and reviewing services for adults and carers with eligible needs under the Care Act 2014.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Single Point of Access Team, ensuring high-quality assessments and support services for adults with a range of care and support needs.
Oversee the daily operations of the team, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014.
Provide guidance and support to the team to deliver exceptional service.
Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure a seamless service delivery.
Work in a hybrid manner, with on-site presence required at least 2 to 3 days a week.
Requirements
Proven experience in adult social care, particularly in a management or senior practitioner role.
In-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and its application in social care settings.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
