Site Agent - Civils

TRIbuild Solutions are looking for an experienced Civils Site Agent for a specialist engineering services contractor who have recently been awarded the civils maintenance framework at the Port of Dover, for next four years or more.

As Site Agent, you will be managing civil engineering projects across a varied portfolio of infrastructure works in safety and operationally critical environments at the Port of Dover.

Reporting to a Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities


• Site supervision


• Health & safety management


• Supervising labour and staff


• Producing method statements and risk assessments


• Framework level programme management and planning


• Design review of proposed solutions


• Assist commercial team with pricing works


• Liaise with Client’s Civil Engineer on a daily/weekly basis

Other skills:

• Experience in working with Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) 


• Fully conversant with safety regulations (particularly CDM)


• Possess a strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract, to manage day to day contract obligations


• Demonstrable experience with both the commercial & project deliverables on previous projects


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate the people working with you


• Engineering degree qualified preferred
