Site DirectorSouthwest EnglandOur client is an international manufacturer and distributor of chemical solutions with a Head Office in USA and regional manufacturing operations in England, Belgium and South Africa.As the result of an internal reorganisation, the company is looking to appoint a Site Director at their operation in south-west England.RoleAs the Site Director, you will lead, every aspect of manufacturing. This will include cross-functional leadership and acting as the crucial liaison with leadership to achieve final objectives. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the manufacturing site, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures.This role reports to the EMEIA Operations Director.Specific responsibilities include:Organize and optimize the departmental management structure, cost and teams.Foster a high-performance culture where employees excel in quality and efficiency, aligning with the company's core values.Develop an environment of continuous improvement.Drive processes to optimise productivity, safety, and quality, increasing production output, capacity, and flexibility while minimizing costs.Oversee manufacturing planning, scheduling, processing, materials management and quality adherence to optimise the client's production performance.Deploy resources effectively, introduce new technologies, and manage capital investments in line with strategic initiatives.PersonThis is a general management role so, in addition to a successful track record of improving the performance of a business where UK COMAH regulations prevail, we are looking for the following experience:• Educated to Degree level within a relevant discipline and/or holding a relevant professional technical qualification.• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a general production or operations leadership role within a manufacturing and/or chemical industry environment.OpportunityIf you are interested in hearing more about the plans already in place for this site and the associated opportunities for the Site Director role, please apply through the advert.
