Site Engineer (Setting Out)

Our client is a large main contractor who work across Industrial, Commercial and Retail Projects with values up to �40m. They are looking for a talented Site Engineer to join their growing team.

Role & Project Overview:

• �10m Industrial Scheme - Wokingham - New Build Steel Frame�

As a Site Engineer, you will report into a Senior Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards. You will work�closely with�project managers and site teams and have a key role in surveying/setting out and general engineering duties as required.�

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations and construction activities.


• Interpret and implement technical designs, drawings, and specifications.


• Conduct site surveys, set out locations, and ensure accurate levels.


• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule.


• Manage and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.


• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.


• Prepare reports, maintain site documentation, and update project status.


• Assist in problem-solving and quality assurance on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role.


• Would suit someone that is looking to progress to Senior Engineer in the next year or two.�


• AutoCAD proficient


• Familiar with Leica Robotics
