Are you a skilled Site Engineer looking to make a significant impact on exciting construction projects? Their impressive portfolio showcases their ability to successfully complete projects in the most challenging and restricted environments. Due to growth, this leading construction company, is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support and quality control for construction works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Work closely with the Project Team, including subcontractors, to ensure all legal, company, and project-specific health, safety, and environmental requirements are met.
  • Produce necessary permits, task briefs, and documentation for approval, ensuring all required documents are in place and briefed before work commences.
  • Support the Temporary Works Coordinator in developing, constructing, using, and dismantling temporary works solutions as per approved designs and method statements.
  • Support and contribute to the development of junior staff through active engagement, feedback, and appropriate delegation.
  • Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements, conduct inspections, and maintain quality assurance records.
  • Comply with IMS requirements, ensure documentation is correctly uploaded to project control systems, and maintain accurate site diaries and records.

Ideal Candidate

  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and standard construction techniques, along with an understanding of commercial and contractual requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and subcontractors.
  • High levels of integrity, accountability, and innovation, with a commitment to delivering exceptional services and supporting team development.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCS, Personal Track Safety (rail-specific), and security clearance if required by the project.
