Job Description:�We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team for a large site compound installation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the project, ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards.



About the Client:�Our client operates across a variety of sectors including water and wastewater, infrastructure and coastal protection, highways, bridges, and railway civils works. They are known for their commitment to quality and innovation in every project they undertake.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Oversee the removal of vegetation (large and small)

  • Manage excavation works

  • Supervise the installation of hard standing using MOT

  • Coordinate the installation of palisade fencing

  • Ensure all works are completed on time and within budget

  • Liaise with the Site Agent and other team members to ensure smooth project execution

  • Conduct site surveys and set out works in accordance with project plans

  • Monitor and report on project progress, including quality control and health and safety compliance

  • Resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction process



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction processes

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Valid certifications and qualifications relevant to the role

  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Relevant Tickets/Certifications:

    • CSCS Card�(Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

    • SMSTS�(Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

    • First Aid at Work
