Site Engineer

Abatec is seeking an experienced freelance Site Engineer to join our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, who has built an outstanding reputation for delivering major highways projects.

The ongoing project in South Wales requires a Site Engineer with previous experience in highways, groundworks, drainage, and general civil engineering.

As a Site Engineer you will:

• Use a robotic total station & GPS to provide leveling and surveying across site.


• Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.


• Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.


• Be a source of technical advice and quality control


• Have experience of highways, drainage, groundworks

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations & GPS


• A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.


• Excellent communication skills.


• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.


• Understanding of AutoCAD

Salary and benefits include:

• £350 - £400 LTD
