Site Engineer

We're looking for a Site Checking and Quality Engineer to join Kier Construction in the Devon area to support an exciting project for a factory expansion.

Location: Exeter

Contract: Fulltime, Permanent

Responsibilities

As an Engineer you will work closely with the Site Management team providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.

Your day to day will include:

• Checking setting out by sub-contractors to ensure it aligns with construction issue information.


• Checking civil and structural works progressively to check for compliance with engineers and sub-contract design specification.


• Checking the quality of materials.


• Reviewing Inspection and test plans.


• To raise technical queries to Contractor design manager.

Who are we looking for?

This role of an Engineer is great for you if you have:

• Previous experience on large commercial or residential developments.


• HNC or above in a Civil Engineering related discipline.


• Setting Out experience as well as Experience and training in temporary works are preferred.


• Experience and training in temporary works.


• CSCS Card, SMSTS Qualification.
