We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Site Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis, working on a key section of HS2 in Chipping Warden. This project offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a transformative infrastructure development, shaping the future of travel in the UK.
What you'll be doing:

• Assisting the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of site operations.
• Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team.
• Setting out works and monitoring progress against project plans and specifications.
• Ensuring quality control measures are implemented and maintained.
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
• Preparing reports and documentation as required.

What you'll bring:

• A proven track record of working as a Site Engineer on large-scale civil engineering projects, ideally with experience in infrastructure schemes
• A thorough understanding of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
