Site Engineer

BMSL are recruiting for an experienced site engineering to cover�

Surrey, Kent, Essex ,Cambridge Hertfordshire, West Sussex , East Sussex.

About the role:�

You will work closely with the site manager and site team on a day to day basis.�

Responsibilities:

• Perform setting out tasks using total stations, GPS equipment, and traditional methods such as profiles, batter rails, and pegs.


• Read and review construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.


• Conduct basic take-offs for project planning and estimation.


• Raise technical queries with designers and other client team members to clarify project details.


• Carry out inspections and testing to ensure the works conform to design and specifications.


• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies, as well as company procedures.


• Understand commercial aspects of projects, including the difference between cost and value

What you'll need to succeed

• A B.Sc., HND, HNC qualification, or equivalent.


• Previous civil engineering experience, especially in highways schemes with a main contractor.


• A CSCS card.


• An SMSTS card


• A First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
