Location: Field based - Mostly Salisbury, Bath, Chippenham based and surrounding areas.

Barnfield Engineering is an expanding company with sites in Newbury, Salisbury and Hertfordshire!
We work mainly within the water industry and specialise in providing complete mechanical engineering services - from design and fabrication through to installation.
Site Fitters / Installers - The Role
Due to customer growth we are looking to recruit a number of experienced Site Fitters/Installers to start asap - working on a variety of interesting projects!
Key Responsibilities;
Interpret drawings and dimensions to locate and erect steel structures
Locate, align, and square up steel structures to drawings
Adjust, cut and repair existing/new structures as required
Work with team to facilitate lifting and installation of structures
Assist at yard with pre-build of structures during the fabrication stage
Carry out general housekeeping and maintenance duties
Communicate with design team for support on installations
Communicate with workshop and management team to understand programme and working method
Comply with all client rules on site including safety and PPE
Maintain a professional and constructive attitude towards work and colleagues
Site Fitters / Installers - What we need from you
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to consistently work to high standards.
Experience in working with mechanical installations, steel structures & handrailing's would be beneficial.
The role will be primarily site based and full driving license is essential.
Skills & Experience;
A full UK Drivers License
Previous experience with Mechanical Installations, Steel Structures & Handrails (desirable)
