Site Manager- groundworks

My client is an established�specialist in their sector- this includes demolition and enabling works, groundworks, drainage, roads and sewers, car parks, external works and associated Civil Engineering works.

They are looking for Site�Managers due to an increase in new projects and are keen to find candidates from groundworks/Civils contractors.

Successful candidates will need to have SMSTS, first aid�and CSCS qualifications, TWS would also be an�advantage.

Candidates from a Civil Engineering degree background will have an advantage but of equal importance is groundworks knowledge and experience.

You would need to be able to put operatives�and machinery to work and have an understanding of construction methodology, follow a programme and report to the PM on progress, be involved in site meetings as required.

The Site�Manager�would have a good working relationship with the site engineer to ensure all setting out record keeping tasks are carried out and recorded as required.�

This particular project is on a new build school and fire station.

On offer is a day rate or salary and package equivalent and this will be somewhere between �(Apply online only) per day with room for negotiation for exceptional candidates.

The contractor I am working with works mainly in the North and North West of England with very occasional forays further afield.
