Site Manager - Power & Utilities

A leading contractor specializing in Power and Utilities is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principle Contractor Site Manager to join their team for a large scale OHL project.

Location: Necton / Swaffham

Rate: �400 - �500 Per day PAYE

Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of site operations, including planning, scheduling, safety, quality, and budget control.
• Manage a team of site personnel, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, National Grid standards, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and other contractors.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• SMSTS / SSSTS
• CSCS Gold / Black
• HSG47
• National Grid Competant Persons
• Temporary Works Co-ordinator
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, including IOSH and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
