Site Manager - Roofing & Cladding

Salary - £50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience

Location – London

Full time, permanent role

Up Front Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced site managers ideally with but not essential experience in roofing and cladding, for a permanent position within a leading contractor. They are specialists in fully supported hard metal roofing, facades, cladding systems and flat roofing for all types of projects. They are seeking to employ professionals within this specialised industry, to carry out duties on a varying size of projects.

Roles and responsibilities not limited to:

• Oversee the day to day running of various sites


• Control and implement health and safety on site


• Manage quality control and progressive handovers of installation


• Attend progress meetings


• Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation


• Demonstrate negotiation and problem solving


• Excellent verbal communication skills

Requirements for applicant:

• Ideal candidate will have a proven record of progression within a construction company


• Cladding installation experience is beneficial but not essential


• Excellent health and safety management


• Minimum SSSTS but SMSTS would be beneficial


• Full Driving license


• Conflict resolution/communication skills


• Must be computer literate

• Knowledge of either is required (or all, which will be ideal):
  
  
  
  1. Flat roofing – minimum 3 years’ experience (managerial or on tools)
  
  
  2. Rainscreen system with helping hand support – minimum 3 years’ experience (managerial or on tools)
  
  
  3. Hard metals (standing seam/flat lock zinc, copper, aluminium) – minimum 3 years’ experience (managerial or on tools)
  
  
  4. Ornamentals (prefabricated aluminium, zinc, lead, etc.) – minimum 3 years’ experience (managerial or on tools)
  
  
  5. SFS – minimum 3 years’ experience (managerial or on tools)
