Site Manager - Bricklaying

Location: Northwest, UK

Salary: �40,000 - �50,000 per annum (Permanent)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager with a strong background in bricklaying to join our client's team based in the North West. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary between �40,000 and �50,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in site management, particularly within bricklaying projects, and possess the necessary qualifications to ensure site safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site activities in the North West region, ensuring that bricklaying work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the site, including workforce management, material deliveries, and subcontractor activities.
  • Maintain and enforce strict health and safety protocols on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Liaise with the client, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.

Key Requirements:

  • Bricklaying Experience: A strong background in bricklaying is essential, with hands-on experience in the trade.
  • CSCS Card: Must hold a valid CSCS card.
  • SMSTS Qualification: Possess a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.
  • First Aid Certification: Must have a valid First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple aspects of site operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and able to address challenges with effective solutions.
