Competitive Salary�DOE (3 Months Contract)�



Our client, an established contractor operating within the Retail fit-out sector, requires an experienced Site Manager for a 3-month contract in Derry/Londonderry. With a strong background in Carpentry/Shopfitting a Site Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of retail fit-out project including coordinating with contractors, ensuring safety compliance, managing the project timeline, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project.��



Key Responsibilities & Requirements:�





  • Oversee all on-site activities for retail fit-out projects from initiation to completion ensuring quality & deadlines are met.�







  • Monitor day-to-day activities on site and track project progress, making adjustments as needed ensuring tasks are completed to specification and standards.�







  • Ensure all subcontractors and workers adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations promoting a culture of safety on-site.��







  • Work closely with designers, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues related to the design or specifications.�







  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality in workmanship & the project is being executed according to plans and specifications.�







  • Address any defects or issues during the fit-out and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.�







  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.�







  • Degree/Qualifications in Engineering or strong trade background.�







  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role with focus on the shopfitting sector and with strong carpentry background.�







  • Proven experience in managing retail fit-out projects, ideally within fast-paced retail environments.�







  • Strong leadership and team management skills.�







  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.�







  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.�







  • Immediate availability upon short notice.�
