By using their extensive in-house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their client’s individual’s needs. To date, our client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the UK for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors and consultants either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor which range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation / development platform preparation on brownfield sites.
Current turnover stands at £4M however they are in a period of growth and they are owned by a larger group who turnover in excess of £45M. This contractor is dedicated to measuring and reducing their carbon footprint, which includes selecting the most sustainable remediation options on projects as well as company -wide initiatives such a recycling.
About the opportunity:
As part of their ongoing expansion, our client has identified the requirement for a Site Manager to join the senior management team.
As a Site Manager, you to oversee the day-to-day operations on active remediation projects, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors on-site. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering remediation projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards. This will require you to identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during remediation activities and develop solution in the field to keep the project on track.
You will be expected to spend most of your time on active remediation/construction sites, noting that this company works nationwide. Occasionally you will be expected to work closely with junior and senior colleagues at their office in Bristol.
About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold 5 years relevant site experience in contaminated land which should have been gained whilst working for a specialist remediation contractor or consultancy in the UK. Additionally, you must hold an SMSTS, CSCS card and full first aid.
Due to current project locations, you must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel and work away from home when required (full subsistence will be covered).
About the benefits / rewards:
For this opportunity, professionals can expected to earn anywhere between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.
