They are a principal supply chain partner on a number of a high-profile framework agreements and are a trusted organisation who are strongly cash positive with a healthy track-record of profit growth.

The Project

As an experienced Site Manager, you will oversee the site team on a �25m new build industrial warehouse in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. You will play a crucial role in the successful completion of the project and will ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, carefully manage documentation and progress reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

  • Strong history of working as a Site Manager or a similar position on new build projects in the industrial sector with build values in excess of �10m
  • Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience in managing construction teams across various sectors/projects

The Role

Duties

  • Chair regular site meetings
  • Liaise with stakeholders and sub-contractors
  • Report and work closely with Project Director
  • Coordinate tasks among various construction phases
  • Handle any arising issues or conflicts throughout the project duration
  • Keep track of project expenditures, remaining within budget constraints
  • Oversee workmanship and materials to verify they align with project standards
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies during all work operations
  • Communicate regularly and effectively maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Recognise possible threats to the project, implementing strategies to address them
  • Monitor resources, such as equipment and materials, ensuring they are used efficiently
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, assuring they are motivated and focused
  • Coordinate across multiple trades to uphold a smooth workflow and achieve timely completion
  • Manage daily site activities, overseeing the supervision of workers, sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Create comprehensive project plans, encompassing schedules, resource allocation, and financial outlines
  • Serve as the main point on contact between project team, clients and stakeholders, delivering frequent progress updates
  • Managing resources such as materials, equipment, and labor to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively
  • Keeping accurate records of all aspects of the project, including contracts, permits, change orders, and correspondence
  • Organize and supervise inspections conducted by regulatory authorities, ensuring necessary corrections or adjustments are promptly addressed
  • Foster and sustain positive client relationships by addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the project's progress
