Job Type: Full-timeWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of all recycling processes at our clients site in Workington. This role is crucial for someone who can foster a strong positive culture focused on business needs, meeting targets, and delivering results.
Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee all aspects of day-to-day recycling processes.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain commercial awareness to support budget control.
Lead continuous development initiatives and demonstrate leadership in training and guiding the workforce.
Ensure quality levels meet client and resale requirements.
Maintain and follow documented procedures.
Participate in ongoing managerial training.
Coordinate and achieve productivity and targets in line with established policies and procedures.
Build strong relationships and maintain effective communication with key departments and other sites.
Conduct regular meetings focusing on efficiency, service compliance, quality, and cost.
Establish and maintain an effective operational plan that incorporates efficient use of all resources.
Conduct and complete annual employee reviews.
Perform additional duties as required by the company.Required Skills & Qualifications:
WAMITAB Holder.
Supervisory/Management experience.
Knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health & Safety laws and regulations.
Exceptional organisational skills and high level of attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate integrity and confidentiality.
Proven record of meeting challenging targets.
Positive attitude with unique and original problem-solving skills.
Determination and resilience with high standards of delivery and customer service.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
FLT Licence (desirable but not essential).
