Job Title: Site Manager - Refurbishment Works

Location: Northamptonshire region



Key Roles and Responsibilities:



As a Site Manager, your primary duties will include:





  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of projects, including sub-contractors on site.




  • Reviewing client instructions and schedules, ensuring a full understanding of project requirements.




  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings and designs.




  • Conducting site inspections to maintain high standards of work and health & safety compliance.




  • Managing labour and materials to meet project deadlines efficiently.




  • Adhering to all health & safety regulations and quality control standards.




  • Identifying and communicating project variations to the Contracts Manager.




  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.




  • Handling client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.




  • Leading team meetings covering performance, operational delivery, health & safety updates, company information, and training.




  • Conducting inspections of completed work, documenting and signing off using app-based systems.





Person Specification:



To be successful in this role, you should have:





  • Proven experience in supervising and managing refurbishment projects.




  • Experience working in occupied environments.




  • A valid SMSTS certificate.




  • Strong ability to interpret drawings and specifications.




  • Effective time management skills and experience working towards tight deadlines.




  • Knowledge and oversight of all health & safety procedures and processes.




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.




  • Understanding of site procedures and best practices.




  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and interact with clients.




  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify contract variations.





What We Offer:





  • Salary range: �40,000 - �45,000




  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
