Site manager required in Manchester

randstad are recruiting a site manager for one of our Manchester based construction clients for a project in the city centre. They have a strong reputation for delivering high quality commercial & residential buildings in the region and are looking for a manager intially to work under a project director on a block of 80 new build apartments.

The Role

Managing assistant site managers, Co-ordinating trades and materials.

Reporting to the Project Director.

Controling quality of works, from sub contractors.

Site inductions & Toolbox talks.

Working at a fast pace against a programme.

Monitoring Health and saftey, and ensuring a high level of health and saftey is maintained on site.

Skills and Experience

Experience in managing the full life cycle of building projects valued of at least �10 million

Will have previously worked on a new-build residential or commercial projects.

keen eye for detail, Provide quick and effective solutions along with being a good comunicator

CSCS, SMSTS, First aid + a trade background
