Site Managers  - East Sussex



A busy main contractor is looking to appoint two Site Managers in the next 3 months to work on new build social housing schemes in Sussex. With a strong client base across local authority, housing associations and a small number of developers. Generally delivering projects from £1M - £8M in value in the new build residential markets.



Site Managers interested in the role could be suitable if they meet the following criteria;





  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Certification all in date




  • Considerable previous Site Management experience delivering £2M + projects from start to finish




  • Have a stable employment history of permanent employment with well known main contractors or developers.




  • A supportive and approachable management style.





Successful Site Managers will be tasked with the following duties;





  • Site set up of new projects




  • Management of site team, sub contractors and supply chain




  • Offer support to commercial and design teams throughout projects




  • Management and updating of programmes




  • Overall responsibility for H&S documentation, quality control and programme




  • Ensuring sites are tidy and fully operational




  • Client / Public liaison as and when required
