Candidate required: CCDO Site Operative

Location: Port Talbot

Job Summary

We are seeking Site Operatives�on behalf of our client, working in Port Talbot. Our client is currently working on a large scale industrial project.�This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Duties

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site.


• Prepare and clean work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.


• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist tradespeople as required.


• Conduct soft strip demo work.


• Operate basic tools and machinery safely under supervision.


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the site, including disposing of waste materials appropriately.


• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with site policies.


• Report any hazards or incidents to the site supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• A valid CCDO and CCNSG card is essential for this role.


• Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not mandatory.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.


• Physically fit, with the capability to perform manual handling tasks.


• A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on-site.
