The Opportunity As a Site Services engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all of the site buildings are maintained to an auditable standard. You will be ensuring adherence to a safe working environment and all Health and Safety rules and procedures for our colleagues and contractors. You will manage and control the cooling towers, boilers and utilities distribution systems. You will also maintain lighting, emergency lighting and fire safety equipment. In addition you will be monitoring the plant rooms and equipment and carrying out meter readings. Key Responsibilities: Working with the Mainsaver system to prioritise and carry out jobs
Liaise with team leaders and other key stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and resolve issues that are affecting the safety or effective running of the site
Prepare, monitor and control budgets and advise on costings for new or alternative site works
Attend breakdowns to equipment, site services and facilities ensuring that a permanent fix is made to standard

Computer literacy and able to use Microsoft Office and Engineering systems
Experience of boiler maintenance and steam distribution management
Experience of working with compressed air systems and fire alarm systems
Experience of working within a manufacturing site
