Involve recruitment are in search of a Site Supervisor at a leading construction company dedicated to excellence in project execution. We are seeking a motivated individual to oversee and coordinate on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.



This role requires national travel so successful candidate MUST be willing to travel and stay over night in various locations across the UK.



Experience working in the solar sector will be advantageous.



Duties:




  • Deliver and supervise project teams in the field during project delivery working as directed by the site manager and Solar Director

  • When deployed to a project the site supervisor will organise as directed for the mobilisation of labour, plant and equipment to the respective sites and subsequently take lead on the site for delivery

  • Support the site manager in the purchase and delivery of equipment and materials required in the execution of the works.

  • Lead a team of personnel at site level in a safe and efficient manner ensuring high standards of professionalism are shown at all times

  • Ensure site rules inductions and H&S processes are followed

  • Be the main point of contact at site for all site matters when site manager not in attendance ensure team are correctly dressed PPE etc and prompt in their attendance at work

  • Ensure contracts are executed safely, on time and within schedule.

  • Take lead on contract scope delivery and report daily on progress to Site Manager and Solar director and client as requested.



Skills:




  • Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role within the civils sector

  • Familiar with project planning and programming software such as MS Projects

  • Proven experience in supervising construction sites or related field.

  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a team effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
