Site Supervisor

Supervisor�(Civil Engineering)

My client, a national contractor specialising in the delivery of both Civil Engineering & Infrastructure�projects are currently looking to recruit an experienced Civils Supervisor�for one of their Water Treatment projects in the Stoke-on-Trent region.

Duties

• Supervise and manage site operations, including subcontractors and direct labor


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations


• Coordinate and schedule work activities to meet project deadlines


• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources


• Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery


• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality standards


• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively


• Maintain accurate records of site activities and progress

Your profile

• Proven experience as a Supervisor or General Foreman or similar role in the civil engineering sector


• Experience with ducting, drainage, piping, deep drainage or previous water treatment / wastewater treatment projects


• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials


• Excellent leadership and communication skills


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications


• Strong organizational and time-management skills


• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools


• Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety qualifications


• SMSTS or SSSTS with First Aid
