A Site Technical Manager is required for a key role in a leading FMCG manufacturing company, offering an opportunity to manage a growing QA / QC team Inc. in-house lab in Derbyshire.

Description

  • Manage and lead the site's quality team (c. 7 reports)
  • Development of the quality management system, in line with IFS and IFS implementation across all functions
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Planning and Implementation of internal and external audits Inc. GMP site audits
  • Lead employee training w/ IFS, quality management and HACCP

Profile

A successful Site Technical Manager should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field e.g., food technology, microbiology, etc.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within FMCG manufacturing
  • Ensure compliance to all environmental and regulatory standards. Investigate and identify root causes of non-compliance
  • Quality Assurance management systems, food safety and security standards, and governmental regulatory relating to the food / beverage industry
  • Organised and detail oriented, adaptable to change
  • Proficient in Microsoft and SAP
