Skilled CNC Operator

Major Recruitment are currently looking for skilled CNC operators to join our client based in Yatton , North Somerset .

We are looking for operators with 3 axis machining experience ideally with Heidenhain CNC operation experience.

Role: Skilled CNC Operator

\n

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (client flexible if needs to adjust the hours)

\n

Pay : between up to £15.29 per hour depending on experience + 0.50p uplift of attendance allowance bonus

\n

Attractive Overtime Rates :

\n

x 1.3 on weekdays

\n

x 1.5 first 8 hours of weekend work

\n

x 2 second 8 hours of weekend work

\n

\n

Main Duties:

\n

\n
• Using Heidenhaim, Siemens and Fanuc systems to produce quality machined parts and tooling
\n
• Studying work orders, drawings and machine planning (some training given).
\n
• Working to set procedures and tolerances
\n
• Maintain continuity among colleagues by documenting, reporting and communicating on actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
\n
• To undertake training and operate a range of CNC machinery.
\n
• To maintain the work are to a high standard of housekeeping (knowledge of 5S is advantageous)
\n
• To undertake training and operate a range of CNC machinery.
\n
• To lead by example and portray a good attitude at all times
\n
• To undertake training as required by the company's needs
