Skilled Groundworkers

Overview We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles and techniques, with expertise in clay drainage, as well as possess a valid CSCS card. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various groundwork tasks to support the successful completion of construction projects.
Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of groundworks including excavation, backfilling, and the installation of clay drainage systems.
• Operate and maintain various hand and power tools required for groundwork tasks.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Complete all assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• Proven experience in carrying out groundworks and clay drainage installations.
• Solid understanding of construction principles and techniques.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Day-to-day

• Daily coordination with the construction team to ensure seamless workflow.
• Physical labor involving lifting, carrying, and operating heavy equipment.
• Operating and maintaining various tools and equipment.
• Following health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Confined Space & Harness Training will be available once successfully started on site.
