Skilled Welder

We are currently on the lookout for a Skilled Welder for one of our established clients in Walsall.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is competent in TIG AND MIG welding to join a growing business on a permanent basis.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled welder with experience in MIG and TIG welding processes, capable of working with stainless steel and alloy’s up to 50 mm thickness. The welder will be responsible to ensure high-quality results while working to coded standards. This role is a permanent opportunity dependant on a 3 month trial basis.

• 4 Day working work (Mondays off) day shifts


• Be time served in appropriate industries petro-chemical, nuclear industries & heavy industries


• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the welding trade.


• Be familiar with quality requirements ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards ASME IX & BSEN Iso (phone number removed)


• Be familiar with working to x-ray standard work & ensuring all required paperwork is completed


• Be conversant with GTAW & GMAW/FCAW welding processes


• Have a strong mechanical knowledge background & to understand machinery and equipment used in the welding process


• Be able to read and interpret technical drawings


• Be competent in welding stainless steels & Nickel alloys 5-50mm


• Be competent in welding aluminium alloys 5-50mm
