Our globally recognised client are looking for entry level Slaughter Operatives.
Monday to Friday with 40 to 45 hours a week. The ideal candidate will start at 6am and be flexible with their finish times.
The ideal candidate will learn key principles of abattoir, such as:
Learn and identity different parts/by-products/cuts/joints of meat. The candidate will be involved in the slaughter and full breakdown of red meat.
Learn the principles of processing red meat carcasses and by-products. Learn to apply food safety and hygiene standards along with applying health and safety standards. The candidate will also carry out any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.
Requirements:
No previous experience in slaughter and/or knife skills required
