Construction - Civil engineering

£230 - 250 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

Night shifts and weekend work available at time and a half: £345 - £375 per shift DOE.

This is a 12 week temporary contract.

A great opportunity to start a temporary Slinger role in North Cornwall. You will be working on a very unique project for a global civil engineering contractor. 

Within a team of 3 you will handle the lifting operations of a civil engineering project.

Day to day:

• Working within a lifting team.
• Slinging loads of up to 1 ton.
• Taking apart, lifting and replacing parts of a bridge.
• Working at heights.
• Taking instruction from Crane supervisor.
• Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Must have a CPCS or NPORS card.
• NVQ 2 Slinger Signaller.
• Must have previous experience in slinging.
• Must be experienced in infrastructure and civils projects.
• Must work well within a team.
• Must be comfortable to work at heights.
• Driving licence (Non essential but preferable due to job location)
• Professional at all times.
• Good work ethic.
• Good timekeeping.
