SLS Engineer

SLS Engineer required. Our client is a leading provider of industrial automation technologies and services to the UK and Ireland markets. They are now looking for a SLS Engineer due to the growth of the business. These projects will run in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Although this role will be based in Aberdeen, candidates must be happy to travel internationally for projects when required.

SLS Engineer Position Overview

Primarily you will assume a project delivery role.
Work in the project team to design and deliver new company Pro-Safe hardwired safety control systems in accordance with company's lifecycle and engineering practices.
Design and execute modification work scopes for existing company Pro-Safe hardwired safety control systems in accordance with company's lifecycle and engineering practices.
On occasions you may also be expected to assume a support role, by attending our client onshore/offshore sites to carry out maintenance, installation and commissioning activities.
Support our sales team to deliver quotations by preparing sales supports for projects/modifications/renewals of the support contracts.
Develop customer awareness of company safety engineering capabilities.
Assist in supporting the department with the development / maintenance of all necessary procedures & documentation associated with IEC61508/61511 certification.
