Role Overview:



We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Small Works Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of small works projects within our social housing portfolio. This includes maintenance, repairs, and minor refurbishment projects. The role requires a proactive approach, excellent project management skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to our residents.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee small works projects from inception to completion.

  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement, and financial reporting.

  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

  • Implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures.



Key Requirements:




  • Proven experience in a similar role within the social housing sector.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Sound knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and construction best practices.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, building studies, or a related field.

  • Full UK driving license.
