SNAM – Wholesale & Food ServiceFMCG – Food📍 Maidenhead ( or Leigh, Manchester with regular travel to Maidenhead )£55k - £60k, depending on experience plus car allowance & bonusThe opportunity:A global food company with an amazing culture are, due to their ongoing growth, now looking for a Senior National Account Manager for their Food Service & Wholesale business including Bestway and Unitas.You will enjoy complete ownership and accountability of the operational and strategic elements of the wholesale sector & food service customer base to help shape their future development.The role is challenging, fast paced and highly responsible & you will be required to lead a small team to build sustainable growth for your customers and the business.You will have the confidence to develop and foster successful collaborative relationships and the ability to negotiate to increase their range, availability, space, and promotions.What will my key accountabilities be?Accountable for leading a small team to deliver annual sales and profit targets across the Wholesale and Foodservice customer portfolio. Constantly looking for opportunities for growth.Developing winning customer relationships to ensure the business are the strategic partner of choice in their categories. Collaboratively developing and implementing robust business plans that ensure long term profitable growth for customers and the businessEnsuring stakeholders are aligned to the direction of travel and plans in this sector by developing and communicating the Channel Strategy. You are critical as the Sector Expert in this roleDeveloping wider customer integration by encouraging effective cross – functional relationshipsEffectively communicating account performance , opportunities and risks in the quarterly review processEnsuring strong operational grip exists, managing all aspects of influencing factors on the P&L including promotional management, customer terms, spend & logistics arrangements.Who will I be working with?External: Customers – across Buying, Marketing and Supply Chain teamsInternal: Wide range of stakeholders across marketing, demand planning, category, and supply chain teamsA great candidate will have:Previous wholesale & food service account management experience within a fast-paced environment.Strong leadership and motivational skills coupled with an entrepreneurial mindsetA fantastic track record of creating, leading and delivering sales growth strategiesHigh energy and a ‘make it happen attitude’High degree of resilience, multi-tasking capability and organisation skillsA strong desire and willingness to develop and progress themselves and the teamYou work well in a culture of ownership and accountability with the autonomy to make a differenceExperience of, and a passion for the Wholesale and Foodservice SectorIn return for everything you can bring, the business can offer you :Salary of £55k - £60k ( based on skills and experience )Competitive car allowance of £7k per annumDiscretionary incentive scheme – up to 25%Private healthcare with BUPAContributory Company Pension Plan25 days annual leave plus bank holsThe Process? 🚦Apply today with your most up-to-date CV to ##### stage – Interview conducted by Controller and HR Business Partner – to explore your CV, skills and experienceMiddle stage : - Understanding your capabilities : - SHL assessment – verbal, numerical, OPQSecond Stage – face to face meeting with a range of stakeholders from the team.
