Job Title: Social Care Worker - Remote

Location: Shetland Islands / Orkney Islands 

Salary: £18 - £22 an hour - 50 hours minimum a week

Job Type: [Full time only) - Car Driver's only - Rural areas so a vehicle is required. 

Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Care Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to care homes / shortbreak services including our homecare teams. Our client provided excellent services at the heart of everything they do.

• Providing an excellent level of service, by making sure you understand, meet and manage our service users’ needs.


• Working in an open and honest way, reflecting on your performance and looking for opportunities to improve and develop.


• Having a positive attitude by being open-minded, fair, respectful, trustworthy and honest.


• Taking your responsibilities as an employee of the council seriously.

Essential Requirements

• SVQ2 or SVQ3 - Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 


• Atleast three years in care with excellent refereces.
