joywave exists to celebrate and support highly impactful, locally-led conservation projects across the world. Our goal is to mobilise a generation, looking for environmental solutions, towards nature protection through fundraising campaigns led by high-visibility talent.Our small team including conservation biologist and National Geographic Explorer, Dr Jonathan Cybulski, model and environmentalist Steph Mandich, and former COO of Seven Clean Seas, Ben Moody has delivered two campaigns to test this concept.Now, with ambitious plans for 2025, we are looking to bring on board a brand-first marketer to communicate this mission and build a brand that will stand out, and that can inspire global change.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for a social creative who thrives on building culturally relevant, personality-led brands with limited resources. You should have the ability to engage audiences and both ideate and create content that resonates online. Whether you're looking for a short-term creative side project or a potential long-term role as Creative Director or Head of Brand, this is an opportunity to build something that matters.Please note: We are a pre-seed startup with no salary available at this time, as we build towards our first fundraising round (Stock Options available). However, this is an opportunity to be involved at the ground level and contribute to ambitious growth plans. The right person will have substantial creative control and the chance to shape a brand that will reach a global audience from Day 1, thanks to exciting talent partnerships in the pipeline.Your ProfileA finger on the pulse of online culture and trends, capable of ideating and executing content quickly and creatively across channels like TikTok and Instagram.Evidence of ideating and copywriting social-first content.A vision for how to build and grow a new breed of environmental brand, with an understanding of brand strategy that drives creative decisions.Strong conceptual thinking, able to turn your own strategy into impactful, relevant social content.A passion for building brands that an experience-driven and eco-conscious audience wants to interact with and support.Proven experience in developing social-first campaigns, whether it's a fun TikTok or Reel, a high-impact paid social post, or content that ties in with larger campaign activations.Comfortable collaborating with a wider team of conservation experts, brand partners, talent, editors and producers.Your Role at joywaveYou'll work closely with our small team to create content that engages our target audience and builds the joywave brand. Primarily through taking creative control of joywave’s social strategy and creating quick, engaging social-first content. You will play a key role in shaping how we communicate our mission.While we are bootstrapped and unable to pay a salary to any members of the team, we would only expect 5-8 hours per week of your time.
