Role overview:

As the Social Media Account Director, you will take full ownership of social media strategies and execution for our clients, guiding the agency team in delivering high-impact campaigns. You will be a creative leader, proactively developing ideas, managing client relationships, and ensuring that our clients receive industry-leading service and results. Working closely with internal teams (including design and PR), you will lead social media projects, track performance, manage budgets, and drive business development.

Key duties:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive annual and monthly social media strategies to enhance brand image, boost engagement, and improve conversion rates for clients
  • Take a proactive approach to client account management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, building and nurturing strong client relationships
  • Participate in client and new business presentations
  • Oversee the planning, design, execution, and monitoring of social media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Work with the in-house creative team to curate and manage multimedia content
  • Build and develop audience profiles, setting up and managing social media advertising campaigns
  • Monitor social media channels for performance, providing detailed reports and actionable insights

About you:

Key requirements & skills:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior social media management role, ideally within an agency environment
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing high-performing social media campaigns
  • Expertise in using major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok) and related tools for audience development, content creation, and advertising
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand content across various platforms
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing client budgets and optimising campaigns for ROI.
