Position Overview:
The
manager
will play a pivotal role in driving student recruitment and enhancing our digital marketing efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that increase student enrolment through targeted marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align recruitment goals and target with the broader marketing strategy while managing and optimizing both offline and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, audience needs, and competitor positioning.
Design and implement marketing plans that align with recruitment and branding goals.
Manage the marketing budget and ensure resource allocation to the most effective strategies.
Ensure all digital content adheres to the brand's identity and guidelines.
Digital Marketing Strategy:
Content Creation
: Oversee the creation of compelling content, including video, graphics, and social media posts, to support recruitment and brand awareness campaigns.
Campaign Management
: Develop and manage digital campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, and email marketing.
SEO & SEM
: Utilize SEO and SEM strategies to improve website traffic and conversion rates.
Analytics:
Monitor and analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Social media
: Develop and execute strategies to grow engagement on social platforms, while monitoring trends and community feedback.
Student Recruitment:
Lead student recruitment initiatives, focusing on widening participation and meeting recruitment targets.
Develop data-driven recruitment strategies to meet institutional goals.
Engage with prospective students through various channels (calls, emails, and social media).
Manage outreach campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, and in-person events.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
Coordinate with departments such as admissions and IT to align marketing strategies with recruitment and technical execution.
Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration of new tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s preferred).
Experience in student recruitment, preferably within UK higher education.
3 or more years of managerial experience in higher education recruitment and digital marketing or similar roles, including expertise in SEO, SEM, Google Ads, and social media management.
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro).
Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Desired Skills

A strong portfolio showcasing digital marketing campaigns, particularly in the education sector.
Experience in content production, including video creation, social media, and graphic design.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and tools in digital marketing.
