Role: Social Value Manager

Salary: £45k + car allowance

Must have driving license and access to vehicle 

One of our top social hsouing contractor clients is on the look out for Social Value Manager. The Community and Social Value Manager will support the development and execution of community projects and the social impact strategy within their departments. This role reports to and supports the Head of Community and Social Value in establishing effective stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and programs both internally and externally.

We are seeking a proactive, forward-thinking manager and coach with a positive vision to drive and deliver the contractors social impact strategy. This exciting role involves shared accountability for social reporting, governance, contract performance, and partnership strategies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Drive Comprehensive Social Impact Delivery:


  • Ensure social value activities meet contract expectations and align with core business and brand strategies.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as oversee relevant programs and partnerships.
  • Develop innovative thought leadership and campaigns that engage both internal and external audiences.
  • Influence business policies and behaviors to deliver impactful community programs.
  • Define and manage the SV dashboard, demonstrating the social return on investment of community projects.
  • Oversee the social value delivery schedule to meet client expectations within budget constraints.
  • Contribute to the strategy and leadership of social value innovations, communications, and marketing, ensuring consistent responses to key responsible business and reputational issues.

Utilize Expertise and Stakeholder Management:


  • Support the development and coordination of social impact strategic delivery across all departments, ensuring it is trackable, monitorable, and reportable.
  • Collect and report sustainability data to measure progress against contractual KPIs and the broader social impact strategy, including clear program KPIs and social impact analysis.
  • Monitor and develop innovative social value delivery methods.
  • Support and coordinate social impact governance, campaigns, programs, and community activities across the company, ensuring alignment with business strategy, fulfillment of external reporting requirements, and peer support.
  • Foster strong partnerships with external organizations to support the companies social aims.
