Job Title: Social Worker - Cared for Children Team
Location: Rochdale
Hourly Rate: �35.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Cared for Children Team in Rochdale. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people in our community who are in care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create care plans that promote the well-being and development of children in care.
• Provide direct support and guidance to children and their carers, ensuring their needs are met.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate and deliver effective services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
• Participate in and contribute to case conferences, reviews, and meetings to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in working with children in care, preferably within a local authority setting.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
