About the Role
Were seeking passionate Social Workers to join the Childrens Social Work Team (CSWT) in Ashford. This role is your opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families, working within a supportive and dynamic team environment.

As a Social Worker, youll manage a diverse caseload, tackling a range of complexities from assessments and planning to court proceedings and direct interventions. Youll be working to safeguard and promote the welfare of children while achieving positive outcomes for families.

Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Handle complex cases, including assessments, reviews, welfare reports, and court attendance.
- Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with children, families, and multi-agency professionals.
- Child Protection: Conduct investigations, create SMART plans, and actively contribute to safeguarding efforts.
- Recording & Reporting: Maintain accurate case records and produce high-quality reports in line with statutory guidelines.
- Learning & Development: Stay updated on legislation, policies, and best practices through continuous training and reflective practice.
- Innovative Practice: Use systemic models such as Signs of Safety to inform your approach and deliver high-quality interventions.

About You
Were looking for dedicated professionals who bring a blend of experience, knowledge, and passion:

Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work (Dip HE/Degree or Post Grad).
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Completion of ASYE (if more than 2 years post-qualified).

Experience:
- Relevant practice experience in Children and Families services.
- Proven ability to deliver systemic practice and interventions.
- Experience working with Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection cases.

Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and promote change.
- Ability to conduct high-quality assessments and write detailed reports.
- Effective in working independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and family court proceedings.
