Location: Staffordshire Salary: £ - £35,000
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a team in Staffordshire, based at a brand-new family assessment service.
About the Role
You will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive family assessments, aligned with individual care plans. Your expertise in report writing, strong communication skills, and ability to manage a demanding workload are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough family assessments.
• Collaborate with the service leadership team to enhance assessment processes.
• Contribute to the development of staff and resident training programs.
• Maintain a reduced caseload to effectively fulfil other duties.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent Diploma
• Social Work England (SWE) registration
• Proven experience in residential family assessment centres, community assessment teams, or conducting assessments
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
• Experience in court report writing
• Proven ability to work effectively with parents and children
• Strong analytic and evaluation skills
