Family Solutions is an Early Help service in Essex working holistically with disadvantage families, with multiple difficulties to enable them to make significant changes and improvements to their lives. Family Solutions works under the umbrella of children's social care.
This is a unique opportunity for qualified Social Worker to gain an understanding of Level 3 complex intensive working completed by Family Solutions. Candidate will be able to complete training and peer supervision sessions for alternatively qualified staff.
The work of a Social Worker (Link Family Worker) is complex, sometimes challenging, but always varied and rewarding. Key aspects of the work include:
The team is extremely supportive and the post holder will be supervised by an experienced manager or senior social worker. The post holder will be expected to operate flexibly, working out of normal office hours when required to best meet the needs of the family.

The role requires you to be mobile throughout a wider operational area including travelling around the county of Essex and beyond, transporting service users and their belongings and to be able to do so in an emergency. Driving licence and car or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential.
