Randstad are proud to be partnering with Bridgend County Borough Council to recruit for a IAA Social Worker to join a well established Children & Families Team, directly working alongside the MASH Team. This role will be a case handling role working to uphold the requirements of the Social Services & Wellbeing Act (#####)

This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week), working on a hybrid working pattern, with the option for flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:


  • Creating and reviewing outcome based care plans, that identify and address the needs outlined within the care plans
  • Carrying out high quality Care & Support assessments to identify the needs of children & families
  • Work closely with individuals, families and care groups to support them in making well informed decisions and contributing to service planning
  • Working with other agencies and professionals in coordinating and addressing the needs of the children and families ensure the best decisions are made
  • Identifying any unmet needs or requirements which have not yet been addressed and alert the service manager, ensuring that all cases are getting the very best support

Requirements:


  • Recognised as a Qualified Social Worker
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
  • Experience working within a similar setting

  • Receive up to £300 for referring a friend of colleague (T&C apply)
