Social Worker Intermediate care services (Adults)

Opus people solutions on behalf of Walsall have an exciting opportunity for a Adults Social Worker to join our Intermediate Care Service Team.

Job Title: Social Worker Intermediate care services (Adults)
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37 hours
Hourly rate: £32.00 per hour Umbrella
Location: Office is Blakenhall Village Centre WS31L
Hybrid - working from home and a minimum 2 days office based.
About the role-

• To improve outcomes for adults with care and support needs and carers.
• To undertake effective strengths based assessments, planning and direct work with adults with care and support needs and carers that identifies needs in accordance with the Care Act 2014, statutory guidance, policy and procedures. To undertake safeguarding duties as required to protect adults with care and support needs from abuse or neglect.
• To practice social work in a transparent, accountable and safe way in accordance with professional standards, ethics and values.
